Intern: Summer 2012 (June 18, 2012 - August 10, 2012)
We have an opportunity for an intern interested in public relations for the Spring 2012 term. Our internship program offers the chance to work on a variety of critical business assignments, test your skills, use your academic knowledge and match your interests to a real job.
Program Overview
As an intern at Strategy+Communications, you will develop the skills necessary for success in the field of public relations by working directly with the agency principal and other senior-level professionals. You will gain direct understanding of the new PR and marketing, including the importance of content, social media and search engine optimization, as you work on client accounts. Much of your time will be spent working remotely, which reflects today's distributed agency and client-side work force. This is a non-paid internship.
Qualifications
- Possess strong communication, organization and project management skills
- Self-starter who works well independently
- Strong writer who understands principles of journalism
- Active in social media
- Undergraduate students working towards a Bachelor’s degree in his or her senior year of study
